Arcade Fire Scoring Richard Kelly’s (donnie darko) new movie

Donnie Darko has a pretty big cult around it but Richard Kelly’s follow up “Southland Tales” tanked really bad. Hopefully his next film “The Box” will be good and with Arcade Fire doing the score I think it is a big possibility. This will also be Arcade Fire’s first film score so this should be interesting.

Also there is a Donnie Darko sequel in the works called S. Darko but Richard Kelly has nothing to do with it (R. K. also doesn’t own the rights to Donnie Darko so he has no word over this) and it sounds like a disaster in the making, so don’t get too excited for that.

Radiohead played on Vh1

All the songs can be found on youtube but I liked this performance of “Where I End You Begin” the most. This makes me very excited to be seeing them in the summer

Animal Collective play new version of “Bearhug”

In case you are unaware of “Bearhug” , it is one of animal collectives new song’s that they’ve been playing for the past year or two. In the chorus Avey used to repeat “I want to walk around you” alot of times but they changed the lyrics and some of the musical arrangments. After a few listens I think this version is actually better than the older one cause it’s less repetitive and still really cool. This was played at Coachella last week.

Radiohead Play On Conan From London

As an earth friendly band I don’t think Radiohead wanted to waste fuel on them so they recorded House Of Cards in Lonon and it was played on Conan O’ Brien
